Marcia Kay Lame

Marcia Kay Lame, age 68, died November 4, 2015 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born on May 23, 1947 to Jack DeLeon and Betty Lou Egan in Iowa City, IA. She married Thomas Edward Lame February 11, 1964.

Marcia had many hobbies including sewing, reading, and dancing. She loved playing keno and going on cruises. Most of all she loved her family and friends who will miss her greatly. Her belief in the Catholic church was very strong. After she attended St. Anthony Academy, she obtained a degree from DMACC, with which she began work as an Adult Education Counselor.

She is survived by her father, Jack DeLeon of Des Moines, Iowa; two daughters: Teresa (Quintin) Thomas of Phoenix, AZ and Brenda (Daryl) Hafer of Mesquite, NV; four grandchildren: Matthew Curtis of Laughlin, NV, Dustin Curtis of Milton, WV, Bridget Rex of Phoenix, AZ, and Lauren DeLeon of Washington DC; one great grandson, Shawn Curtis of Denver, CO; one sister, Denna DeLeon of Des Moines, IA; and two brothers: Jack DeLeon Jr. of Des Moines, IA, and Daniel DeLeon of Leawood, KS. Marcia Lame is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward Lame, her mother Betty Lou Egan, and her sister Judy Razzano.
