Lynne Beckdahl
August 22, 1941 — April 20, 2015
Gloria Lynne Beckdahl, age 73, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 in St. George, Utah. She was born August 22, 1941 in Grafton, North Dakota to Oscar Sunderland and Josie Flom Sunderland. On August 24, 1990 she married Daniel Fredrick Beckdahl in Moose Creek, Alaska. Lynne spent her early years in North Dakota, but really grew up in Southern California. As a young, independent woman, she moved to Alaska where she earned her Master's Degree and became a Certified Public Accountant. She loved living in Alaska, hunting moose, working in the yard and enjoying the lifestyle. She enjoyed spending winters in Overton, Nevada. As she struggled with cancer, she became an avid reader. Survivors include her husband Dan of Overton; one brother and four sisters.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 25,2015 at 10 a.m. at the Lake Mead Baptist Church in Overton. Her ashes will be returned to Alaska.
