Lyleen Marie Henderson

Lyleen Marie Henderson, 75, passed away on May 8, 2024 in St. George, UT. Lyleen was born on March 9, 1949 in Lincoln, NE to Lyle Monroe and Mary Haziel Clifford Henderson. She was raised on a ranch and grew up riding horses with her siblings and her cousins. They worked hard to tend to the animals. After graduating from high school, she traveled the world, attending colleges in England and South Africa before returning to the United States. She graduated from Southern Adventist University. She loved going on adventures, often hitchhiking or taking buses wherever she wanted to go. She worked hard for several marketing firms and owned her own medical technology retail business. She also worked in home health care, and as a massage therapist and instructor. As she worked in marketing, she attended a meeting where she met Rodney Floyd Davis, and as they began working together, they started to date and were later married on February 25, 1983 in Milton-Freewater, OR. Together she and Rodney shared many adventures always sustained by their shared faith in the Lord. All who knew her knew she was never afraid to try something new. She loved helping others, and had an immense faith in her Lord and Savior.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney F. Davis; her stepsons, Erick (Maria) Davis and Robert (Cheryl) Davis; her four step-grandchildren; her siblings, Lyle Jr. “Rocky” (Laura) Henderson, Herb (Sue) Henderson, Emmy (Gary) McKenzie, and Dixie Henderson; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Mary Henderson; and her brother, Cliff Henderson.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 10-11:00 am at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd, Logandale, Nevada, followed by a Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will follow at the Pioneer Hill Cemetery in Overton, NV.
