Louise Green Lytle, age 93, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Centerville, Utah. She was born October 10, 1924 in Pima, Arizona to Reece D. And Geneva Mattice Green. On July 2, 1948 she married Grant Lawson Lytle in Pima, Arizona. They were sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in 1979. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2000.
Louise grew up in Pima. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from BYU and took a teaching job in Overton, Nevada. There she met Grant. They raised their family in Thousand Oaks, California and settled into retirement in St. George, Utah. Louise was a talented Pianist. She enjoyed playing in church and teaching piano lessons. She was a devoted mother and wife and loved her family.
Survivors include two sons and two daughters: Gregg of Tempe, AZ; Kurt (Audree) of Arlington, WA; Marcy Lytle of Tempe, AZ; LuAnn Westerman of Centerville, UT; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one sister in law, Nathalene Green of Safford, AZ. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Mortuary.
