Lorraine Mary Palella, 84, died January 29, 2012 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born March 9, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Mary Pelligrino Sommario. She married Gaetano "Guy" Palella on January 26, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 66 years. She lived most of her life in Chicago, Illinois. She retired with her loving husband to Mesquite, Nevada in 2005. She enjoyed cooking and baking and devoted her life to her husband and family.
Survivors include her husband, Guy of Mesquite, NV, three sons: Frank (Debbie) of Chicago, IL; Nick (Virgie) of Chicago, IL; Michael (Claudia) of Sacramento, CA; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral rosary will be held in her honor on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour prior at the mortuary.
