Lloyd Marshall

Joseph Lloyd Marshall, age 77, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Dixie Regional Medical Center in St. George, Utah. He was born November 30, 1936 in Las Vegas, Nevada to John Lawrence and Helen Hazel Spencer Marsahll. On March 21, 1961 he married Judith "Judy" Rae Johnson in the St. George LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on May 7, 2013.

Lloyd lived all of his life in Moapa Valley, except for 2 years in Salina, Utah. He worked as an Equipment Operator for over 45 years. He was a farmer, gardener and bee keeper. He had the unique quality of teaching his children and grandchildren, while giving service, workin in the garden, and refurbishing antique tractors. He will be remembered as a gentle, kind friend.

Lloyd is survived by three daughters and two sons: Lori (Rob) Terril of Logandale; Denice Marshall of Las Vegas; Michael (Gina) of Logandale; Edwin (Amy); Karie (James Sexton) both of Panguitch, UT; 18 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 brothers and 1 sister: Geraldine Barton of Overton; Ron (Erlene); Gary (Vicki) both of Logandale; Gene (Beverly) of Las Vegas; three step brothers Jerry, Mike and Tom. He is preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Alice, two grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon and his step brother Steven.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Logandale Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery.
