REMEMBERING LISA

Lisa Ann Atkinson, age 56, passed away at her home in Mesquite NV. on February 16, 2020. She was born in Billings, Montana on October 29, 1963 to Lorraine and Michael Laveder. She married Thomas (T.J.) Atkinson. She had a contagious smile and a friendly personality, and was adventurous and enjoyed being around people. Lisa worked hard as a team leader in housekeeping for Nevada Gaming for many years and enjoyed her job. She looked forward to the holiday’s and especially loved to be with her family whenever she could.

Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, Pete Laveder and her father, Michael (or Mike, as he was known). She is survived by her brother, Mike Jr., and mother, Lorraine, both of Beaver Dam AZ. She is also survived by Thomas (T.J.) Atkinson her husband, whom she was married to for the past 24 years; her son, Joshua Cook of St. George, UT; her daughter, Teresa Capone of Maryville, TN; daughters, Cheyenne and LaRea Atkinson, of Mesquite, NV; stepdaughters, Tera Atkinson (moffit) of Overton, NV and Tessa Nuchi of Camp Pendelton CA; and 15 grandchildren.
