Linda Melick
Linda Mae Melick, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home in Overton, Nevada. She was born October 24, 1950 in Albany, California to Fred Allen and Mildred Ailene Lovelady (Taylor). Early 1970 she married Allan Harry Melick (Bud) in San Fernando Valley, California. They had three children and were later divorced.
Linda spent many of her young years in Southern California and Oklahoma. As she started her family. Later she lived in Southern California where she operated a bar. She moved to Overton in June of 1997. Later worked at Lin's for a few years. She enjoyed crafting, especially dried flower arrangements and collecting elephants. She loved time with her family.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter: Kenneth (Heidi) of North Carolina; Buddy; Kelly (David) McCafferty both of Overton, NV; four grandchildren and 4 Brothers and 8 Sisters.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the many friends and family that helped their mother through her cancer treatments. Special acknowledgment to the girls from "Tuff Enough To Wear Pink".
Private family services will be held on February 6th, 2016.
