Linda Norene Day, age 65, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 in Murray, Utah. She was born November 3, 1942 in Antioch, California to Elmer and Helen Davis. On August 19, 1978 she married Stan Day in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Linda moved to Mesquite eight years ago from Castro Valley, California. She loved living in the desert and would often go on long drives through the desert. She belonged to the ICL in St. George, Utah. Linda was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder Day Saints two years ago, and has been serving as the secretary in the Relief Society in the Mesquite 6th Ward.

Linda is survived by her loving husband Stan Day. A memorial service will be held at the LDS Whipple Chapel in Mesquite, Nevada on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held in the Relief Society room of the Whipple Chapel from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association in Linda's name (https://donate.americanheart.org).
