Leroy John Trombley
March 3, 1939 — May 20, 2017
LeRoy John Trombley, age 78, of Mesquite, Nevada passed away at his home on Saturday morning, May 20, 2017 surrounded by his family, after a short fight with cancer. Born March 2, 1939 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was the son of the late Paul and Luverne Trombley.
LeRoy attended Anoka High School and graduated in 1957. He married his wife of 59 years, Jean, on April 12, 1958. They then moved to California in 1959 where LeRoy began his 35 year career with McDonnell Douglas. He left McDonnell Douglas in 1994 at the age of 55 to enjoy his long retirement with Jean.
LeRoy is survived by his loving wife Jean; 2 sons: Robert Trombley (Cheryl) and Richard Trombley; daughter, Vikki Kephart (Len); 2 grandsons: Landon Trombley and Leonard Kephart; 3 brothers: Gary Trombley, Brian Trombley and Tom Trombley; and sister, Paulette Trombley. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Trombley.
