Lena Pulsipher

September 30, 1941 — April 6, 2009

Lena Pulsipher, age 67, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at Heights of Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born September 30,1941 in Mesa, Arizona to Julian and Thelia Mae Lofgreen Cluff. Her father died when she was very young and she was raised by her step father, Eddie Lee Jones. On November 4, 1977 she married Howard Kyle Pulsipher in Mesquite, Nevada and then moved to Moapa, Nevada where they raised Lena's young family.

Lena worked at the Moapa Post Office, was an active member of the LDS Church, enjoyed decorating cakes and collecting tea pots. She was a dear friend to everyone she knew and always had a smile and positive attitude to share with all those she came into contact with.

Survivors include her husband, Howard; two sons and two daughters: Ralph Copley of Overton, NV; Brian (Rebekah) Copley of Las Vegas, NV; Debbie (Ken) Carr of Henderson, NV; Susan Pulsipher of Moapa, NV; three step sons: Dennis (Rhonda) Pulsipher; Bill (Susie) Pulsipher and Dale (Launa) Pulsipher all of Moapa, NV: 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters: Paula Hall of St. George, UT; Jim (Carol) Cluff of Phoenix, AZ; Lyle (Nancy) Jones of Overton, NV; Ray (Sheila) Jones of Missouri and Beth (Tom) King of Mesquite, NV. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa LDS Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary, 702 398-3600. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
