Kristin Sue Woodworth

Kristin Sue Woodworth, age 14, passed away June 22, 2011. She was born on August 17, 1996 in Thornton, Colorado to Melinda Kay (Ratliff) Woodworth and Joel William Woodworth. Kristin lived in Grand Junction until 2005, where she attended Orchard Avenue and Nisley Elementary. In 2007, the family moved to Mesquite. She attended both Hughes Middle School and Beaver Dam Middle School. Kristin just finished her freshman year at Virgin Valley High School where she lettered in golf and played on the junior varsity basketball team. Kristin enjoyed camping, skiing, hiking, and fishing, and she loved art and playing her guitar. Kristin is survived by her younger sister, Ashley, her parents, Joel and Melinda, her paternal grandparents, John and Sue Woodworth of Grand Junction, Colorado, her paternal great grandmother Barbara Adams of Udall, Kansas, and her maternal grandparents Bill and Margaret Ratliff of Anthony, Kansas. She is also blessed with many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be Monday, June 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Virgin Valley High School Auditorium, Mesquite, Nevada. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. and again Monday, June 27, 2011 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. at the Calvary Chapel Mesquite, 211 W. 1st South, Mesquite, Nevada. Interment will be in the Udall Cemetery, Udall, Kansas on Friday, July 1, 2011.
