Kevin Allen Jones

Kevin Allen Jones passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. He was born on April 3, 1954 to Kenneth and Dorothy Virginia Allen Jones in Worland, Wyoming. On August 8, 1975 he married Susan (Susie)Carol Reynolds in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Kevin was raised in the small town of Otto, Wyoming where he worked on the family farm and ranch. He faithfully filled a mission to Tulsa, Oklahoma. After his mission he returned to Wyoming and continued farming. In 1990 he moved his family to Logandale, Nevada where he worked on Wayne Newton's ranch. He later became the maintenance supervisor for Clark County Parks and Recreation in Logandale.

Kevin had an adventurous heart and could fix anything. He loved to paint and build things. He developed life-long friendships while serving as a clerk in the Spanish Branch, and later as the Stake Executive Secretary. He will be remembered as a loving and caring father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife Susie of Logandale, NV; three sons and one daughter: Jeff (Maria) of Delta, UT; Jenna ( Tom) Rhude of Logandale, NV; Nick (Esther) of Overton, NV; Nathan (Kelli) of N. Las Vegas, NV; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Dorothy (Marion) Riley of Basin, WY; three brothers and two sisters: Kengie (Gary) Hilton of Cedar Hills, UT; Marlin of Emblem, WY: Kalyn (Barbara) of W. Jordan, UT; Lennis (Patti) of Pleasant Grove, UT and Shelley (Todd) Peterson of Billings, MT. He was preceded in death by two children, David and LinDee, his father, Kenneth and one brother, Jeffrey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Logandale LDS Hinckley Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, March 5, 2010 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary and again from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
