Kent Linnell Peterson

Kent Linnell Peterson, age 62, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2010 in Mesquite, NV. He was born September 4, 1948 in Salt Lake City, UT to Marjorie Linnell and Vinton B. Peterson. He married Sharon House on January 30, 1981 in Farmington, UT.

Kent loved to travel, hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. He also had fun celebrating holidays, especially Halloween, Christmas and Easter. Kent loved cultivating gardens and fixing things. He worked many years as a carpenter before changing careers to pursue a lifetime interest in the electronics industry, which he enjoyed until retirement. His retirement years were spent in Mesquite, NV with his wife, enjoying the warm weather and company of good friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters Jennifer (Stephen) Love and Kenya (Curtis) Gutzmer; grandsons Hunter Kent Love and Braeden Coy Love; and brothers Jack (Vanessa) Peterson and Dennis Peterson. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00AM at Lindquist-Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. (Orchard Drive), Bountiful, UT. 801-292-5555. Viewings will be Sunday, November 21, 2010 6:00PM - 8:00PM, or preceding the funeral on November 22, 9:30AM - 10:45AM. Interment will be in the Bountiful City Cemetery under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary, 702-346-6060.
