Kenneth Arnold Clauson

Kenneth Arnold Clauson of Mesquite Nevada, age 64, passed away Wednesday November 21, 2012. He had worked for 42 years at the same company before retiring from Lombard, IL., before moving to Mesquite in 2008 to enjoy the warmth and beauty of the desert. He was born in Gary, IN. on April 17, 1948 to Rose Janiga and Claude Clauson. In 1968 he married the love of his life, Carol Hanson in Dupage Co.,Wood Dale, IL. He loved the great outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. In his spare time he enjoyed shopping around for garage sales and flea markets. He also loved watching NASCAR races and whenever he had the chance he would watch "Walker Texas Ranger". He loved and will miss his Labrador "Brandy" who was his best friend. He is survived by his family, Claude (Gloria) Clauson, Hot Springs, AR; Mary (John) Locke, Mesquite, NV; Barney (Sandra) Clauson, Metropolis, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 1:00 p.m at the Virgin Valley Mortuary in Mesquite NV.
