Kathryn Johnson

Kathryn Elizabeth Johnson, age 52, died at her home in Overton, Nevada. She was born January 13, 1959 in Meadville, PA to Ronald Charles and Nancy Lee Gage Thomas. On March 29, 1984, she married Ronald Doyle Johnson in Indianapolis, IN. Kathryn lived in several towns during her young years, including Meadville, PA, Cleveland and Dayton, OH, and Indianapolis, IN. While in Indianapolis she worked in Patent Law and after she was married, continued this work for two years in Lansdale, PA, and five years in Lafayette, CA. She and her husband lived six years in Uxbridge, MA during which time she received her Associate Paralegal degree from Becker College. In 1998, she retired to Overton, Nevada where she focused on her hobbies, stained glass, ceramics and crafting jewelry. Survivors include her husband, Ron; one step son, Jeffrey Johnson of Clermont, IN; two grandchildren, Olivia and Jack; her parents, Ron and Nancy Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters: Julie Falcone of Brownsburg, IN and Nicole Thomas of Chicago, IL and a niece, Darcy Falcone, and a nephew, Chase Falcone. A funeral mass will be celebrated in her honor on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the St. John's Catholic Church in Logandale, NV. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
