Judith Burns Martin

Judith (Burns) Martin, age 79, a resident of Mesquite since 2002, died February 27, 2021, following a long illness. She was the youngest of three children born to Earl Burns and Dorothy Smith of Midvale, Utah. Over the course of her life she also lived in Massachusetts, Virginia and North Carolina before settling in Nevada. She retired from the Nevada Department of Corrections.
She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Ralph Burns. Surviving her are children Stephanie (Michael) Petty of Fairfax, Virginia, Troy Gross of Hayes, Virginia, Jennifer Greenwood of Carson City, Nevada; grandchildren Melanie Petty, James Petty, Tabitha Gross; three great grandchildren, and her sister Janet Haines of Camdenton, Missouri.
