Juan Gonzalez Navarro, age 74, died Thursday, March 17, 2022 in St. George, Utah.  He was born January 3, 1948 in Santa Cruz de la Flores, Jalisco, Mexico to Trinidad Gonzalez and Maria Navarro.  On October 23 1971 he married Maria del Carmen Ruelas in Santa Cruz de la Flores. Juan grew up in Santa Cruz.  As a young man he earned his Degree in Education. He worked as an elementary school teacher in Mexico before moving to California where he worked as a field laborer. He then lived in Lancaster, California working at a car dealership. In 1996 he moved to Mesquite, Nevada where he started working in the casino.  Juan will be remembered as a loving father and husband.

Survivors include his wife, Maria; two sons and three daughters: Veronica (Armando) Gonzalez; Ana (Jose) Gonzalez; Carlos Gonzalez; Sergio (Miriam) Gonzalez; Lorena Gonzalez;  14 grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Efren, Manuel (Cenobia) Gonzalez and Edelmira Gonzalez.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Rosario and two brothers, Jesus and Pilar.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in his honor Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the La Virgen De Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Visitation will be from 7:30 - 9 a.m. prior to services at the Virgin Valley Mortuary.  Interment will follow in the Bunkerville Cemetery.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com


Juan González Navarro, de 74 años, murió el jueves 17 de marzo de 2022 en St. George, Utah. Nació el 3 de enero de 1948 en Santa Cruz de la Flores, Jalisco, México de Trinidad González y María Navarro. El 23 de octubre de 1971 se casa con María del Carmen Ruelas en Santa Cruz de la Flores. Juan creció en Santa Cruz. De joven obtuvo su Licenciatura en Educación. Trabajó como maestro de escuela primaria en México antes de mudarse a California, donde trabajó como trabajador del campo. Luego vivió en Lancaster, California, trabajando en un concesionario de automóviles. En 1996 se mudó a Mesquite, Nevada, donde comenzó a trabajar en el casino. Juan será recordado como un padre y esposo querido.

Los sobrevivientes incluyen a su esposa, María; dos hijos y tres hijas: Verónica (Armando) González; Ana (José) González; Carlos González; Sergio (Miriam) González; Lorena González; 14 nietos; dos hermanos y una hermana: Efrén, Manuel (Cenobia) González y Edelmira González. Se celebrará una misa funeral en su honor el martes 22 de marzo de 2022 a las 9:30 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica La Virgen De Guadalupe. Las visitas serán de 7:30 a 9 a. m. antes de los servicios en Virgin Valley Mortuary. El entierro será en el cementerio de Bunkerville.
