Joy Kendall

September 18, 1955 — May 8, 2011

Joy Kendall, age 55, died May 8, 2011 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 18, 1955 in Brigham City, Utah to Robert Lars and Margene Jeppsen Isaacson. On July 14, 1990, she married Jeffery Patrick Kendall in Las Vegas, Nevada. On October 30, 1992 they were sealed in the Las Vegas LDS Temple. Joy lived most of her life in Las Vegas, Nevada. She devoted most of her adult life to serving her family. She enjoyed working in the PTA and helping her children in all of their school activities including choir. She enjoyed crocheting, tatting and studying family history. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include her husband, Jeff; four sons and three daughters: Jeremiah (Heather) of Las Vegas, NV; Tonya (Rodney) Pack of Midvale, UT; Kevin of Phoenix, AZ; Brian currently serving as a missionary in Japan; Eva of St. George, UT; Theresa and Wesley of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren; her parents, Robert and Margene Isaacson of St. George, UT; two brothers and two sisters: Bev (Mark) Huffman of Las Vegas, NV: Ellen Berresse of Atlanta, GA; Blake (Susan) of Tucson, AZ and Ron (Jerilee) of St. George, UT. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14,2011 at 11 a.m. in the Vegas Manor Ward, 1707 S. Sloan Lane, Las Vegas, NV, 89122. Visitation will be Friday, May 13, 2011 from 6 - 8 p.m. and again Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services, both at the Chapel. Interment will be in the Logandale Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary, 702 398-3600.
