Joseph Leroy Wilkinson

Joseph LeRoy Wilkinson, age 72, died Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born October 5, 1942 in American Fork, Utah to Glen Charles and Bessie Margie Mott Wilkinson.
Roy grew up in Orem, Utah. After serving in the US Navy, he moved back to Utah County where he worked for Geneva Steel as a steel worker. He enjoyed being with family, hunting, fishing and on adventures in the outdoors. He spent his final years in Overton, Nevada.
Survivors include one son and two daughters: Brian (Kimberley) of Mills, WY; Tanya (Rob) States of Pinedale, WY; Tina of West Richland, WA; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his mother, Bessie Wilkinson of Overton, NV; three sisters: Barbara Japson of Magna, UT; Jane (Michael) Evans of PA and Judy Dorsey of Overton, NV. He was preceded in death by one son, Chad, one brother, Glen and his father.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 8336 in Overton, Nevada.
