Joseph Louis Salvador

Joseph Louis Salvador, 82, passed away at his home in Mesquite, Nevada on November 26, 2010. He was born October 14, 1928 in Cohasset, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gloria, his children Doug Scott and Karyn Kovaly and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Mary Hobart, Shirley Kehoe and Sally Costello.

Salvador was a graduate of Cohasset High School, class of 1946, and was a former three-letterman in baseball, basketball and football and was a champion boxer. He is a survivor of World War II and the Korean War. He worked for Sears Roebuck for over 37 years as a Salesman and then Personnel Manager. After retirement in 1988 he pursued his entrepreneurial skills and became the owner of two retail stores on the California Coast. He loved to fish on the coast and play golf and garden in his yard. He was loved by all and could make anyone laugh on a moments notice. He eventually retired for the second time in Mesquite, Nevada to travel with his wife in her dancing group.
