John Ace Wall, age 79, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born August 15, 1935 in Cedar City, Utah to Fred and Mabel John Wall. Juanita Kinlichinie was his dear companion for many years. John grew up on the Shivwits Utah Indian Reservation near St. George, Utah. He lived for a short time in Cedar City, UT before settling in Moapa, Nevada. He loved western movies, John Wayne movies, cartoons and the Wizard of Oz. He enjoyed playing guitar, camping and yard work. He had a strong work ethic, he worked as a laborer, roping cattle, boxed and rode bulls in his younger years. He will be remembered for his kindness and the care he gave to his family. Survivors include his companion Juanita Kinlichinie; daughter, Joyce Dougherty of Las Vegas, NV; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren that considered him their father. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Vaughn, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Moapa Tribal Building, followed by a Traditional Indian Sing.
