John Henry Peterson

John Henry Peterson, 84, passed away on September 20, 2016 in St. George, UT. John was born on March 6, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to John Elof Peterson and Myrtle Blume. He married Elizabeth Ann Long on March 11, 1972 in South Lake Tahoe, NV.
John was a soft-spoken man that enjoyed working with cars and in the auto industry. He enjoyed working with computers, and building and operating remote controlled air planes. When John and his wife Elizabeth moved to Mesquite, NV, John worked for the Cat Bus and later the Silver Rider as a driver, and enjoyed driving the little children around town. John was always looking for ways to help those around him, and spent many years with the American Legion serving the community. He loved his family and spent as much time with them as possible.
John is survived by his wife; Elizabeth Peterson, his son; Ed O'Brien (Karen) of Corona, CA, his daughter; Kelly Euler (Ed) Clackamas, OR; four grand children; and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; John and Myrtle Peterson.
