John Lamberton, 72, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2013, at his home in Mesquite, NV, with his loving wife of 50 years by his side. John was born June 16, 2041 in Pontiac, MI to Edwin and Jessie (Beattie) Lamberton.
John loved to be with his family and was happiest spending time with his wife, Christine. He enjoyed life and was known as a "prankster", he always enjoyed a good joke. John had a great love for his country, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1962. He worked hard all of his life, for 30 years he served his community as a Deputy for the Oakland County, Michigan Sheriff's Department. When he wasn't working, he enjoying being in the great outdoors. He loved to hunt, and would spend hours fishing whenever he had the chance. John enjoyed bowling, and didn't mind letting everyone know how good he was.
John is survived by his wife Christine; daughter, Dawn (Tommy) Tucker of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Brian (Shannon) Lamberton of Grand Blanc, MI; brother, Earl Lamberton; Marylin Lamberton; grandchildren, Maureen Lamberton, Jonna Tucker, and Sara Tucker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
To honor John's request, no services will be held. Arrangements have been made under the direction of the Virgin Valley Mortuary in Mesquite, NV.
