John M. Goddard

John Michael Goddard, age 65, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada.　He was born in 1955 in Las Vegas to Clarence Eugene Goddard and Marjorie Alice (Pettis) Goddard.　 On May 10, 1975 he married Evelyn Rose Etheredge in Las Vegas, Nevada.　On May 15, 2010 they were sealed in the Las Vegas LDS Temple.

John spent his whole life in Las Vegas.　He worked as a sheet metal fabricator/foreman for over thirty years.　He used his talents and construction knowledge and relationships to build three houses.　He loved being outdoors.　 His passion was rodeo and team roping, and being around the arena.　John was affectionately known as "Big Daddy" in his circle of friends.　He was a devoted husband and father and adored his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; two sons: Broc (Stephanie) and their daughter Brailyn; Weston (Chrissy) and their son, Weston John, all of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters: Kathy (Boyd) Hampton of UT and Shawnie Goddard of WA.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alamo Cemetery, Alamo, Nevada.  All are welcome.　Friends and family are invited to sign our on-line guest book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com
