Joe Robison
Joe Ray Robison, age 81, died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at his home in Overton, Nevada. He was born March 6, 1927 in Temple, Oklahoma to Artus John and Verna Irene Robinson. On June 1, 1970 he married Doris Agnes Boever in Elko, Nevada. They later renewed their vows on April 13, 1983 in Wenatchee, WA.
Joe grew up in Southern California. He served in the US Army. He lived for many years throughout the United States before settling in Elko, Nevada from 1983 - 1992. He then retired to Overton, Nevada where he enjoyed friends and fishing. He was also a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Doris; two sons and one daughter, Terry Ray of Fresno, CA; Mike of Crescent City, CA and Linda Louise of Chowchilla, CA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ira Glen of Elko, NV.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Overton Pioneer Hill Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
