Jerome Herbert "Jerry" Moore

February 19, 1935 — June 28, 2016

Jerome Herbert "Jerry" Moore of Mesquite, NV, passed away June 28, 2016. He was born February 19, 1935 in Edgeley, North Dakota. He attended Fargo Central High School and began his career at the Manchester Biscuit Company in 1952. Later that year he married Marcella Lorraine Morgan. Jerry and Marcie had three children and moved numerous times as Jerry pursued career opportunities. He saw the company through several changes and retired after 37 years as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Keebler. Jerry and Marcie split their time between Wisconsin and Arizona, joined by their children and grandchildren as often as possible. Jerry enjoyed telling stories of childhood hijinks with his siblings. He was always up for a fishing trip, game of cards, or a round of golf. After losing his first love, Marcie, in 1997, Jerry felt lucky to find love again with Bobby Cribby and they married in 2003. Jerry and Bobby shared a love of travel and drove across the country visiting family and stopping along the way to try their luck at the casino tables.

Jerry and Bobby found Mesquite by attending the Moore family reunion in 2004. They returned and purchased a home. Jerry's early morning runs to play blackjack gave him the opportunity to get to know the dealers and staff. He loved to hear about their lives. Spin- poker machines usually followed the blackjack games.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Inga Moore, first wife Marcella and brother Ronald Moore. He is survived by his wife Bobby Moore; brothers Marshall Moore (Rose Mary) and Clifford Moore (Donalene), sister Carol Aakhus (Bob); daughter Terri Pedersen (Michael); sons Gary Moore (Stephanie) and Michael Moore (Barbara); and grandchildren Michael Moore (Missy), Eric Moore, Brittany Petersen (Brian), Bradley Moore (Missy), Emma Nelson (Chad), Elizabeth Schwing (Michael), Stephen Pedersen, Christine Pedersen, Lauren Moore; and great grandchildren Gary, Blake and Barrick Nelson, and Zadek Moore.

At Jerry's request, there will be no services.
