Jenifer Kay Perkins

Jenifer Kay Christensen Perkins, age 67, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at her sister's home in Logandale, Nevada. She was born December 15, 1944 to Noel Kenneth and Evelyn Mae Forsell Christensen. On December 10, 1966 she married Murray Lewis Perkins in Gary, Minnesota. Jenifer was raised in Minnesota riding horseback and running free. She moved to Overton in 1965 where she raised her family. She worked in a nursing home as a nurses aide and with her husband in the Sand Mine Business. She loved the outdoors. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and homemaker. She will be remembered for her energy and unconditional love. Survivors include her husband Murray of Overton, NV; two daughters and one son: Kristen Perkins: Kent both of Overton, NV; Kandyce (Jared) Smith of Kamiah, ID; seven grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters: Jerry (Helen) Christensen of Minneapolis, MN; Ron (Deana) Christensen of Parker, AZ; Jeane (LeRoy) Whitson of Logandale, NV; Candy (Curt) Robertson of Ada, MN; Celeste Forsell Christensen of Minneapolis, MN. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Overton LDS Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. prior to the services at the chapel. Interment will be in the St. Thomas Cemetery.
