James Leroy Wilcox

James LeRoy "Jim" Wilcox, age 69, died Friday, October 11, 2013 at his home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. He was born June 28, 1944 to Frank and Pearl Irene Meyers Wilcox in Buffalo, New York. On March 25, 1973 he married Joy Elizabeth Robinette in San Bernardino, California.
Jim grew up in Southern California. He lived in Cedar City, Utah for sixteen years before moving to Beaver Dam, Arizona in 2006. He owned and operated a bike store in Southern California and later worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling. He was talented carpenter and handyman and enjoyed helping others.
Survivors include his wife, Joy, one daughter, Jennifer (Dennis) Wilson of WA; two granddaughters; two great grandsons; three brothers and six sisters.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary.
