James Frederick Aaron

March 29, 1945 — September 28, 2013

James Frederick Aaron, 68, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013, at his Mesquite residence. He was born March 29, 1945 in Ogden, UT to Douglas Major and Doris Ivy Wollaston Aaron. He married the love of his life Sandy Corley on September 14, 1984 in Ogden, UT.

James graduated high school in Ogden in 1963. He served our nation in the Vietnam War in the Navy. He worked over 30 years at the Hill A.F. Base and retired to Mesquite in 2007. James loved corvettes, working on cars, and wood working. He was an avid gambler with Bob Avery; they would often go to Wendover. He was a great loving dad to Sandy's two girls and a great brother as well to his siblings.

He is survived by his wife Sandy; 2 step-daughters, Donya Schoss of Clinton, UT, Tonya Crabb of Hooper, UT; 2 grandchildren, Karissa Mecham and Logan Carter; 1 great-grandchild, Lucien Mecham; 3 brothers, Doug (Gerry) Aaron of Ogden, UT, Johnny (Tracy) Aaron of Denver, CO, and Gary (Sharon) Aaron of Evanston, WY; and 2 sisters, Patty (Lee) Hershal and Margaret Aaron both of Ogden, UT.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Virgin Valley Mortuary.
