Jacquelyn "Jackie" Marie Glass peacefully returned to her Father-In-Heaven just 10 days shy of her 59th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, Robert George Glass. She joins her father, mother, and sister who have preceded her in death.
Jackie was an incredibly talented artist who loved to paint. Her ability to capture the beauty of life on canvas was remarkable. Her passion and creativity for her art was revered by all who loved her.
Jackie further tapped into her affinity for artistic expression when she joined the "Mesquite Toes". Since their inception, she thoroughly enjoyed each of their performances. In fact, she spent five years relishing in her time to gracefully dance across the stage.
Her beauty, poise, talent, and personality were incomparable, which made her the ideal candidate for pageantry. And to the delight of her loved ones, in 2006, Jackie competed in the Mrs. Senior Mesquite Pageant.
Ultimately, Jackie’s faith guided her through her journey on earth as she served as a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved the Fifth Ward in Mesquite as she committed herself to many callings. Volunteerism within her church and community was very special for her.
She is survived by her four children: Debbie Smith (Larry) of UT; Rob Glass (Janette) of Ill; Denice Fullerton (Stephen) of FL; and Dana Glass of NV; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on the 1st day of September at 3:00 p.m., with a viewing prior at 2:00 p.m. in the Whipple Chapel. Her internment will take place on September 3, at 10:00 a.m.. Utah time in Salt Lake City Utah.
Her family would like to express their gratitude for the dedicated staff at Mesa View Regional Medical Center who demonstrated true compassion and care as they went above and beyond to ensure her comfort during her final days.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s name to the Mesa View Regional Medical Center in Mesquite, NV.
The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their "Guest Book".
