Jacob Gordon King, age 21, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Fort Carson, Colorado. He was born July 13, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Mark Gordon King and Angela Marie Bozarth. On December 21, 2015 he married Alexis Marie Page in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jacob grew up in Las Vegas. He lived a few years, during middle school, in Moapa Valley. He was a 2012 graduate of Arbor View High School. He entered United States Army and was stationed in Fort Carson, CO having served one tour in Afghanistan. He enjoyed collecting sports shoes and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his happy nature and always having a smile. He was a loving step father to Avery, whom he enjoyed playing trucks and cars with before bedtime.
He is survived by his wife, Lexi of Fort Carson, CO; his step son, Avery; mother, Angela Bozarth of Overton, NV; step father, Jonathan Olsen of Overton, NV; sister, Marissa Bozarth of Las Vegas, NV; grandparents, Eva (David) Neyman; Roger (Cindy) Bozarth all of Las Vegas, NV and Hans & Karen Olsen of Litchfield, AZ.
Services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Southern Nevada Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada. A visitation will be Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV.
