Jacob D Baird

December 17, 1979 — October 4, 2020

Mesquite, NV

Jacob D Baird, 40, passed away on October 4, 2020 in Las Vegas, NV. Jacob was born on December 17, 1979 in Murray, UT to Bryan William Baird and Lori R. Meyer, and was raised in Kearns, UT. As a young boy Jacob discovered his passion for snakes, lizards, spiders and many other animals that he could catch and show off to his family and friends. He started working with his father as a painter, and was the fifth generation to carry on this trade in his family. He continued to work as a painter, and was highly respected for his hard work, passion for the trade and ability to connect with people.

Jacob became a father early in life, and even at a young age was dedicated to his three children, Jacob, Isabella, and Jaxon. He loved his children more than anything. In 2010, he met Lindsie, and they were married in Mesquite, NV on April 20, 2013. He was ecstatic to be able to adopt Lindsie’s son, Gavyn, and elated at the birth of their daughter Charlie. He was always there for his kids and all their sports and events.  From wrestling, football, dance, cheer and tumble he never missed an event. He was proud to be a Bulldog.  He would often bring the critters to the childrens’ school and educate full auditoriums of students and teachers.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Lindsie Baird; his children, Jacob, Isabella, Jaxon, Gavyn, and Charlie; his father Bryan (Kim) Baird; his brothers, Jason Baird, Brandon (Hayley) Stoddard, Jared (Heather) Stoddard and a very large extended family and many friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lori Kennedy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7th at his residence from 12:00 to 3:00pm. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com.
