Jack Harvey Nelson, 82, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Mesquite, NV. He was born May 19, 1930 in Tooele, UT to Jules William and Bonnie Verrana Wells Nelson. Jack grew up in Tooele, UT. He was a truck driver for Barton Truck Line out of Tooele and then became a Manager for the same company, He belonged to the Teamsters. Jack belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Jack and Peggy lived in West Jordan, UT prior to retiring to Mesquite in August 2011. Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy, daughters Robin (Howard) Drourr, Brendenton, FL; Julie Jurica, Eagle, ID; step children Kirk Allred, Rick Allred, Val Iorg and Vickie Page and two granddchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Brent Nelson. Arrangements are under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Rd. Mesquite, NV.
