Imelda Chavez, 65, passed away on November 28, 2020 in St. George, UT. Imelda was born on May 13, 1955 in Estacion Bamoa, Sinaloa, Mexico to Miguel Angel Curiel and Bertha Chavez. Imelda was raised in Estacion Bamoa, and after graduating high school, she attended a secondary school to earn a degree as an executive secretary. She met Rosario Diaz, and they raised four children together. Imelda loved living in Mexico, but chose to move to the United States in 2001. She owned her own housekeeping business for many years. She was always looking for ways to serve others, and had a very sensitive heart. She was responsible, a hard worker, and had a strong personality. She loved her family, and loved spending time with them. She would get dressed up to go shopping with them and going out to eat. She also loved to feed them, and was a great cook. She loved her grandchildren even more. Imelda had a great desire to be with her mother, and would cook and care for her.
Imelda is survived by her children, Siovan Diaz, Arturo (Elena) Diaz, Julia (Jesus) Parra, and Dylan (Miranda) Diaz; her ten grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her mother, Bertha; her nine siblings; and a large extended family. She is preceded in death by her father, and one grandson.
