Howard Kyle Pulsipher, 86 passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born in a tent on April 10, 1929 in Arden, NV to William and Nevada Pulsipher.
Howard was the foreman for Hidden Valley Ranch from 1948-1977. Howard also worked way past the age of retirement, at the Reid Gardner Power Plant hauling coal ash.
On September 5, 1946 Howard married his high school sweetheart, June Pulsipher. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple. Together they had four children. After a divorce, he married Lena Pulsipher and together they raised her three children and a daughter of their own. Howard loved his family and always enjoyed teasing everyone, especially his kids and grandkids. Howard was known for his hard work and generosity toward others.
Howard is survived by his three sons; Dennis (Rhonda) Pulsipher of Moapa, NV, Billy (Susan) Pulsipher of Moapa, Dale (Lonia) Pulsipher of Moapa and daughter Susan "Punk" Pulsipher of St. George, UT, three step-children; Ralph (Dianna) Copley of Overton, NV, Brian (Rebekah) Copley of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie (Ken) Carr of Henderson, NV. Sisters; Katie Lee and Wilverna Leavitt both of Mesquite, NV. He was Grandpa Howard to 21 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. He was preceded in his death by his parents, Bill and Nevada, his first wife June and their baby daughter Sandra Lee, wife Lena, sister Sylva Frehner, brothers Warren "Chaut" and French, a granddaughter Shanna De Pulsipher and a great-granddaughter Brooke Shanna Shirley.
The funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moapa LDS Church. The viewing will also be on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. The internment services will follow after the conclusion of the funeral at the Logandale Cemetery.
