Helen Joy Ryan, Mesquite, NV. passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Highland Manor, in Mesquite.
Helen was born April 14, 1934, 5:20 a.m in the Hospital of Branden Copper Company, Sewell, Chile to Benjamin LeBaron Johnson and Ardene Anstee.
She became David G. Blake's partner in life on May 1, 2000. Helen Loved all good and beautiful things, people, and wonder's of life. She believed that life was made by love, with love and for love. She was compassionate, especially for the downtrodden, the suffering, and always cared for the underdog. She grew up in a mining town in the Andes Mountains; the deepest copper mine in the world, named El Teniente. She loved fishing, mostly in lakes and rivers of the beautiful mountains. She experienced a great loss in her life when her son, Benjamin Ryan passed away in 1998, who also loved fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jeffrey) Anderson of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter in law, Clare Ryan of Seattle, WA, five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, June Bodley of Seattle WA; and her brother, Robert Johnson.
Helen passed away peacefully at the age of 81, with her devout friend, David Blake by her side.
