Beloved mother and grandmother, Helen Elsa Pyles, passed away July 23, 2011 in Mesquite, Nevada, where she had been a resident for three years. She was born June 28, 1919, in Kit Carson, Colorado.
Elsa is survived by one daughter, Marty (Warren) Oldham; one son, Ron Alley both of Mesquite, NV; three grandsons, Ed (Julie) Oldham, Michael Oldham, Gary Oldham; four great granddaughters, Kalee (Robert) Faust, Autumn (Chris) LaRose, Morgan Oldham, Alisha Todd, Olivia Oldham, Sydney Small, and two great grandsons Steven Oldham and Mike Todd.
Elsa served as Silt City Clerk for 29 years and secretary and board member of Silt Water Conservancy District for many years, along with the secretary for the Silt Volunteer Fire Department. Elsa touched the lives of many people and will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will held Wednesday, August 3, 20II at 2 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com.
