Helen O'Connor

Helen Wadsworth O'Connor, age 93, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 in Caliente, Nevada. She was born August 20, 1919 in Panaca, Nevada to Milton LaFayette and Minnie Adele "Dollie" Hollingshead Wadsworth. On February 20, 1943 she married Robert Edward O'Connor. They had two daughters and were later divorced. Helen was born, raised and lived the majority of her life in Panaca. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, held a variety of callings and served two missions. She lived a life of service to her fellowman. She had an outstanding singing voice and loved to share her talent. Survivors include two daughters: Linda (Kim) Lee and Torrie (Steven) Klomp, both of Panaca, NV; eight grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren; baby Tina, Eric and Christopher, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Panaca LDS Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. and again from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Panaca Cemetery.
