Harry Luwayne Leavitt

Harry Leavitt, age 71 , passed away March 2, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born January 3, 1941 in Bunkerville, Nevada to Eldred and Ruby Leavitt. He married Patricia Ann Foster June 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Harry attended highschool in Bunkerville, Nevada. He retired from Labors Union and moved to Tonopah, Nevada in 1995. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, metal detecting and looking for old mines. He raised and loved his family very much.
He is survived by two sons, David (Linda) Leavitt from Bunkerville, Nevada, Marty Leavitt from Tonopah, Nevada; one daughter, Bobette (Scott) Lee from Mesquite, Nevada; brother Ladell Leavitt, sister Marlene Duty, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m at the Bunkerville Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints church. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Virgin Valley Mortuary and again Friday morning at the church in Bunkerville from 9:30-10:45 prior to the funeral. Interment will be at the Bunkerville Cemetery.
