Harry James Durben, age 77, died Tuesday, Janaury 25, 2011 at his home in Moapa, Nevada. He was born August 16, 1933 in Racine, Wisconsin to Henry Albert and Ethel Margaret Coutts Durben. He was married to his sweet heart Bonnie Mae Blodgett "forever". Harry grew up in Racine, where he worked as a meat cutter. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He raised his family in Racine, before moving to Arizona in 1972. He then lived in Jeffrey City, Wyoming, where he drove trucks and later worked as a ranch hand. He moved to Las Vegas in 1988 and finally to Moapa, Nevada in 2005. He served as a volunteer firefighter, enjoyed hunting and fishing, reading and playing poker. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love of family. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; two sons and two daughters: Cori (Ron) of Moapa, NV; Kevin (Joyce) Durben of Hickory, NC; Bobby Durben and Debbie Krienhop, both of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one sister, Louise Feest of Bonduel, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters, Michael, Albert, his twin Harold, Catherine and Helen. A celebration of life will be held on February 12, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Moapa Fire Station. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moapa Fire Station #72.
