Harold Gerry White, 73, passed away on April 2, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV. Gerry was born on May 23, 1945 in Fruita, CO to Raymond F. White and Naomi Gerry. He married Judy K. Arnold in Las Vegas, NV on June 21, 1974.

Upon graduating from Bonneville High School, Gerry enlisted in the U.S. Navy to see the world and to serve his country. He was stationed on the USS George Climber, and dropped off the first Marines in the Vietnam War. After serving in the military he worked many positions and gained a lot of work experience. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Davis Co. Sheriff’s Office before retiring in 2005, after sixteen years of service. He had six children that he dearly loved, three of those children were from a previous marriage.

Gerry loved being in the outdoors. In his younger days He loved riding horses, but as he got older he switched to ATV’s, joking that they were cheaper to feed. He and Judy enjoyed the snowbird life style of spending the summer in Utah and the winter in Arizona. After nine years full-timeRV living He and Judy settled in Mesquite, Nevada which is halfway between their children in California and Utah. Gerry was very close with his family and he loved his puppies, and treated them like his kids. Gerry loved the Lord with all of his heart and spent hours studying the Bible. He and Judy volunteered at the Pioneer Bible Camp in Eden, UT for nine years, to help others develop faith in God. He strived to post a Bible verse on Facebook every day.

Gerry is survived by his wife; Judy White, his children; Stacey (David) Whitmire, Shelly (Brett)
Kemp, and Steve (Melanie) White, Wendi Bergeson, Andy Bergeson (Mandi), Jamie Braner (Les) his fifteen grandchildren, his five great-grandchildren, and his brothers; Kim (Marsha) White, and Jon (Cindy) White. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister; Karen Stevenson.
