Gordon Alfred Leaberry

Gordon Alfred Leaberry, 71, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 after a sudden illness in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born March 9, 1938 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, Great Britain to Alfred and Doris Croft Leaberry. He Married Dorothy Danner on July 5, 1992 in San Fernando Valley, California.

Gordon immigrated from England at the age of seventeen to Salt Lake City, UT where he worked until moving to the San Jose, CA area and worked as a tool design engineer in the Aerospace industry. He transferred to the Los Angeles, CA area in the early 1970's and eventually worked for North American Rockwell. He was the project manager for several projects including the wing carry-through of the B1 Bomber. He retired in 1991 from Rockwell International in Tulsa, OK and moved to Pine Valley, UT. He relocated to Mesquite, NV in 1999.

Gordon is survived by his wife Jeanne (nee) Danner; three children: Michelle Leaberry of Fort Collins, CO; Kirk Leaberry of Clermont, FL; Shannon Lee of British Columbia, Canada; four step-children: Donald Phinney of Temecula, CA; Nannette Chevalier of Merrieta, CA; Roxanne Taylor of Bixby, OK; Kimberly Howe of Sapula, OK; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Pine Valley Cemetery.
