Georgia Helen Snow, age 71, of Elsinore, Utah passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2008 in Beaver Dam, Arizona. She was born March 17, 1937 in Olney, Texas to George and Juanita Young Anderson.
Georgia grew up in El Centro, California where she graduated from high school. She married Jay Cheatwood. They raised their family in Lake Tahoe. In 1978 She moved to Reno where Georgia worked at the recently opened MGM Casino. She had a successful career working her way up to shift manager. She married Edgar Snow in May of 1979 who became a father to her children and shared grand parenthood along with great grand parenthood. In 1992 Georgia and Ed moved to Louisiana where Georgia was the Assistant General Manager at the Grand Casino. In Louisiana, she was a key person in implementing educational resources for the Tunica Biloxi Indian Tribe. Upon retirement they moved to Elsinore, Utah.
Survivors include her husband Edgar Snow of Elsinore, UT, 2 children George Cheatwood of Salt Lake City, Utah, Linda Cheatwood of Mesquite, Nevada; 3 grandchildren Delia, Devon, and Justin; 2 great grandchildren Savanna and Karmyn.
