Georgene Haselman

Georgene Haselman, age 70, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born February 22, 1941 in Grace, Idaho to George Edwin and Elza Thomas Revoir. On September 24, 1993 she married Gordon Paul Haselman in the Salt Lake Temple.

Georgene grew up in Grace, Idaho in a farming community. After she was married she raised her family in Rock Springs, Wyoming. In 1999, she moved with her husband to Littlefield, Arizona. Georgene worked most of her life in the food service industry, both in the local school and later in the hospital. She was a talented pianist and enjoyed playing the piano in her various church callings. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

Survivors include her husband Gordon of Littlefield, AZ; three sons and one daughter: Steven (Terrie) Pond of Chandler, AZ; Philip Pond of Salt Lake City, UT; Mark (Terry) Pond of Green River, WY; Louise Day of Murray, UT; three stepsons and three stepdaughters: Debra Lynn (Kevin) Handley of Bountiful, UT; Gregory Haselman; Timothy (Mia) Haselman: Lori Ann Haselman all of Seattle, WA, Brenn Haselman of Dallas, TX and Brandi Haselman of Littlefield, AZ; 14 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Nan Harris of Pocatello, ID and Kathy (Leonard) Watts of Pocatello, ID. She was preceded in death by one brother, John.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2011at 2 pm at the Littlefield LDS Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at the chapel and again Friday, one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Littlefield Cemetery.
