Gentry Stephen Perkins

Gentry Stephen Perkins, age 43, passed away at his home in Overton, Nevada on Monday, September1, 2014. He was born May 19, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Bruce Gentry and Nancy Lee Grover Perkins. Gentry lived most of his life in Overton, other than a few work trips to Alaska. He earned his Eagle Rank from the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed working as a commercial truck driver. He was a happy, cooperative, tender hearted young man that always expressed his love to his parents. Survivors include one son, Steven Perkins; his parents, Bruce and Nancy of Overton, NV; great grandmother, LuDean Grover of Archer, ID; two brothers and one sister: Lane of Las Vegas, NV; Tommy of Overton, NV; Tamara (Michael) Tuttle of Gilbert, AZ and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Blair. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9 a.m. at the St. Thomas Cemetery.
