Genevieve (Wadsworth) Taylor

Genevieve Wadsworth Taylor, age 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was born January 29, 1926 in Wilson Lane, Utah to Daniel Chester and Alta Terrilla Baker Wadsworth.  On November 22, 1943 she married Claude Albert Taylor in Sterling, Idaho.   He preceded her in death on July 15, 2008.
Genevieve was born in Utah and while very young moved to Idaho where she grew up.  After she married Claude, they raised their family in Idaho, Utah, Arizona and Oregon as they moved where his work took them.  Genevieve loved being a mother and homemaker.  She enjoyed canning, quilting and homemaking.  She loved writing her family history, doing genealogy work and poetry.  But mostly she loved her family.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and served in the primary music for 27 years, served 3 missions and other callings.
She is survived by two sons and eight daughters: Deona (Lynn) Langston of Suprise, AZ; Sandra (Steve) Stinger of Lemoore, CA; Glenna (Keith) Funk of St. George, UT; Dale Taylor of Globe, AZ; Peggy (Paul) Mathewson; Susan (Steve) Gilbert both of St. George, Ut; Paula (Merlin) Hardy of Las Vegas, NV; Clinton (Frankie) Taylor of Goodyear, AZ; Karen (Robert) Murdock of St. George, Ut; Lavon (Steve) Vogl of Lehi, Ut; 61 grandchildren; 192 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two daughters Linda Taylor (baby) and Claudia (Howard) Zweifel.

Funeral services will be:
Saturday, March 27, 2021
Stewart Place Ward Chapel at 375 N. Hollywood Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89110.

Viewing: 9:00 - 9:45AM Relief Society Room
Service: 10:00 to 11:00 in Chapel then moving to cultural hall for remaining program till 12.:30 PM.

Monday, March 29, 2021
Time: 10:00 AM
Grove City Cemetery, 1 Willow Drive, Blackfoot, Idaho.
Luncheon Following Service- Stake Center at 1650 Highland Dr. Blackfoot, Idaho
