Gary Fred Wirt
April 3, 1933 — April 8, 2015
Gary Fred Wirt, age 71, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in St. George, Utah. He was born April 3, 1944 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Fred Howard and Jean Margaret Fitzgerald Wirt. On February 15, 1964, he married Anna LaTiese Williams in Las Vegas. They had three children and were later divorced.
Gary lived most of his life in Las Vegas. He worked for the Nevada Department of Transportation for 32 years as a resident engineer. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His greatest joy came from time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include one son and two daughters: Teresa (Eric) Kruse of Logandale, NV; Roger (Dina) of Las Vegas, NV; Linsey (Evart) Outlaw of San Antonio, TX; eight grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Pat Naylor of Las Vegas, NV; Judy (Jerry) Barthelemy of Decatur, IL and Kent Wirt of Las Vegas, NV.
Private family services will be held.
