He loved BYU sports, had a great sense of humor, and his family meant everything to him.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry; two sons and four daughters; Rick (Cyndy) of Dammeron Valley, UT; Patty (Jeff) Olsen of Crofton, MD; Jeannine (Paul) Bowerman of Logandale, NV; David (Lisa) of Henderson, NV; Karen (Bruce) Doty of St. George, UT; Jennifer (Todd) Hilbig of Draper, UT; 23 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Evelyn, one granddaughter, and one great-granddaughter.
