Gary Joe Bowman
Gary Joe Bowman, died March 5, 2012, in Mesquite, Nevada. Gary was born on July 29, 1939 in Sterling Colorado to Joe Bowman and Esther (Miller). He grew up in Brush, Colorado and married the love of his life Eva (Davis) on February 8, 1962, they recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. They have two children, Natalie (Joe) of Rifle CO; Bryan (Chris) of Greenbrier, AR. He has two granddaughters, the apples of his eyes, Madison and Baily Bowman.
Gary worked his entire career as a Colorado brand inspector; he retired in 1994. Gary and Eva moved to Mesquite in 1996 to "retire" but he worked Keno for a number of years where he made many friends. Gary loved life, Eva, his children, grandchildren and many friends.
He is survived by his brother Vernon (Viney) Bowman of Meeker, nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, NV at 5:00 P.M. Friends are invited for a gathering at Eva's house following the service, 272 Dairy Lane, Mesquite.
